The Azalea Sprinter is a part of the CaterParrott Railnet in Southern Georgia. The line runs between Valdosta & Willacoochee, a length of 44 miles (Known as the Valdosta Division). The line is EX Georgia & Florida Railway / Douglas, Augusta & Gulf Ry.
The Azalea Sprinter runs from CPR's base of operations in Nashville GA, North to Willacoochee, a distance of 18 miles.
We hop aborad GP40 #7000 and travel through beautiful farmlands and wooded areas of Southern Georgia for a scenic trip to Willacoochee! We cross the scenic Alapaha River along with many creeks and streams.
A wonderful way to see the Southern scenery aboard a classic train!
As an added bonus, we capture freight through the scenic countryside!
