The Mass Central operates on about 29 miles of track in Central Massachusetts , From the CSX interchange in Palmer northward to the town of Barre.
A typical day finds the crew working at Gibbs Crossing, Ware & the end of the line in Barre. We hop aboard GP38-2 #1751 (Decked out in Boston & Maine inspired paint scheme) for a trip from the yard in Palmer to the end of track in Barre. We also include footage from many scenic locations along the line!
We capture short and long trains as a lone GP38-2 makes it's way through the beautiful Central New England Country side in A Winter Wonderland of snow!
