About The DVD:
This DVD travels to Sunny Central Florida at Mt. Dora for a trip on the Inland Lakes Railway! The railway operated several excursion trains ranging from a five course dinner train to sightseeing excursions throughout Lake and Orange Counties. The company operated through a lease agreement with the Florida Central Railroad, the owner of the tracks. In January 2010, Florida Rail Adventures announced the line would shut down.
On this historic view of the Inland Lakes Railway we hop into the cab of the Inland Lakes Railway #101, "Herbie"; a 1942 General Electric 45 ton side rod diesel. The trip takes us from downtown Mt. Dora along the shores of Lake Dora, down the middle of Lake Dora Drive and into Wooten Park in beautiful downtown Tavares.
This is classic Florida Railroading at it's best!
