This DVD takes a look at the Housatonic Flyer!

On May 16th, 2009, the Berkshire Scenic Railway, Housatonic Railroad and the Massachusetts Bay Railroad Enthusiasts hosted a rare mileage excursion from Canaan, CT to Danbury, CT. Blackstone River Productions was there to document the action!

On this DVD we capture the historic event in all it's rail glory. You'll see the train at some of the scenic and classic locations on the Ex-New Haven "Berkshire Line", now known as the Housatonic Railroad.

Power was Housatonic Railraod's RS3M #9935 and Berkshire Scenic Railway's EX Conrail SW9 #9128. This comes along with six Berkshire Scenic Railway passenger cars.

We start if at the recently restored station in Doiwntown Canaan and travel south to Danbury's Metro-North train station; home of the Danbury Railway Museum.

This is a great and insightful look into the Housatonic operation. This is considered the sister DVD to the Berkshire Flyer DVD as produced by Blackstone River productions.
